L energyspace range runs on just a trickle of energy. Super-insulation, total draught sealing, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, low-e double glazing, low energy lighting and seasonal solar design all contribute towards a truly Low Energy building. They are healthy too, using natural finishes to create a warm, naturally lit, ergonomic and beautifully crafted space for you to use day and night, summer and winter.
The L floor plans range from 10m2 to 30m2 and beyond. Optional extras are available on all sized models including a wrap-around porch, an extended deck, external cladding choices and built-in shelving and desks. All models are Low Energy because the energy saving technologies all come as standard.
Z energyspace (Z) is a clean power plant in your garden. It is a Zero Energy building with a solar electricity generating roof. Z achieves zero net energy consumption, as the energy used to heat, light, ventilate and run appliances is offset by the energy generated by the solar roof.
The Z range is a solid investment from 2010 onwards, as it will earn you an income of £600.00+ P/A through the UK Governments new Feed in Tariff. The additional cost of the solar panels can be recovered in full in only 10 years read more.
Z10
The Z10 Energy Space range (Z10) The Z-10 is a new design for 2010. We designed this building around fitting the maximum amount of solar panels per metre square of roof area. It is a home solar-power station that delivers you clean energy while earning you an income through the Governments Feed In Tariff.

L is a versatile building. Built with a mono-pitch roof sloping along its short or long side, depending on where the main entrance is positioned. Large overhanging eaves create shade from the sun and drive rain off the walls. The floor plans range from 10-30 square metres, while the interior height is a generous 2.1 metres. L low
Low Energy Space (L low) is identical to the L, except that they are all under 2.5mtrs in height. Why? Because the Planning Law states that garden buildings over 2.5 metres must be sited 2 metres from any boundary, which is not practical in most urban gardens.
In many cases our customers wish to build right up to the boundary, but without the delay and without the expense of submitting a planning application. The sizes given here are internal sizes. If you require any variation on these sizes get in touch with us for an estimate.

L duopitch Energy Space (Lduo) incorporates the standard layouts of the L Energy Space range but includes a pitched roof and is a taller building, extending in height up to 3.9 metres. The range comes with a standard glazed gable wall, which is a great natural light source, and is an ideal wall to position towards a great view. The sizes given here are internal sizes. Z
Z Energy Space (Z) is a clean power plant in your garden with a roof integrated solar array above the main entrance. Z is ideally oriented due south in order to generate the most energy from the solar array. The floor-plan chosen from the range determines the size of the solar array. Larger buildings usually have a greater energy demand; hence a larger array with greater output.
